Endangered Hawaiian Petrel (Pterodroma sandwichensis)

PSI is preparing an Avian Protection Plan (APP) for the utility’s facilities. This involves identification of structures and activities with the potential to adversely affect avian fauna; and recommendation of improvements needed and development of training programs needed to ensure that MECO personnel are trained to avoid harm to protected and other important avian species.
