Thirty-Meter Telescope Project, Mauna Kea, Hawai‘i

PSI prepared a Conservation District Use Permit application for the Thirty Meter Telescope project located in the Astronomy District at the summit of Mauna Kea. The telescope, designed in accord with the Mauna Kea’s Comprehensive Management Plan  will enable astronomers to see at least 10 times farther and more clearly than the best existing telescope.
