North Shore Reliability Enhancement Project

PSI co-authored a preliminary engineering and environmental assessment to identify and evaluate improvements KIUC can pursue to improve electrical transmission service to its customers in the Princeville, Hanalei, and Kilauea area. The study identified alternative ways of meeting the project objectives that factored in cost, environmental & permitting considerations, and community concerns. KIUC is now evaluating the alternatives internally.
